My Man combines best-in-class screenshots, voice-to-text, meeting notes, and quick notes in one lightweight menu-bar app. One hotkey to capture anything, one search across everything, and all of it stays on your Mac.
My Man is a Mac utility that replaces a drawer full of single-purpose apps — a screenshot tool, a dictation tool, a meeting-notes tool, and a quick-capture notes app — with one sidekick that lives in your menu bar and stays out of your way until you call it.
Everything you capture — notes, transcripts, meeting summaries, even the text inside your screenshots — lands in one local database with one universal search. Press the hotkey, start typing, and find anything.
Capture any region with a hotkey, then annotate with arrows, boxes, highlights, text, and pixelation. Crop, add backdrop gradients, cut out backgrounds, and copy text straight out of the image with built-in text recognition.
Hold a key, talk, release — clean, punctuated text is typed wherever your cursor is. Transcription runs entirely on your Mac with state-of-the-art local speech models, with smart cleanup that learns your vocabulary.
Record any meeting — Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, Webex, or a browser tab — with no bot joining the call. Get a speaker-separated transcript plus an AI summary with key points and action items, generated on-device.
One hotkey opens the launcher: type a thought and hit return to save it, or keep typing to search everything you have ever captured. Notes, meetings, dictations, and screenshots all rank in one result list.
Your meetings, your notes, and your screen are some of the most sensitive data you have. My Man's answer is simple: none of it leaves your machine.
A Mac menu-bar app combining four tools in one: annotated screenshots, on-device voice-to-text dictation, AI meeting notes, and hotkey quick notes — with one universal search across everything you capture.
No. Transcription, summaries, and search all run on-device. Your recordings, notes, and screenshots never leave your Mac.
No. My Man records system audio and your microphone directly on your Mac. Nothing joins the meeting and other participants see nothing.
It's built as a single alternative to running a separate screenshot tool, a dictation tool like Wispr Flow, a meeting-notes tool like Granola, and a quick-capture notes app.
macOS 14.2 and later. Some AI features — automatic meeting summaries and task extraction — use Apple's on-device Foundation Models and require macOS 26.
